Detailed steps and precautions of belt conveyor installation-I

At present, belt conveyor is widely used in mining, metallurgy, coal and other industries. Because its installation accuracy is not as high as machine tools, large motors and other precision equipment, some users will choose to do it by themselves. But the installation of belt conveyor is not without accuracy requirements, once there is a problem, it will bring unnecessary trouble to the later debugging and acceptance work, and it is easy to cause accidents such as belt deviation in production.
 
The installation of belt conveyor can be divided into the following steps.
 
01 Preparation before installation
 
First, be familiar with the drawings. By looking at the drawings, understand the structure of the equipment, installation form, composition and quantity of parts, performance parameters and other important information. Then get familiar with the important installation dimensions and technical requirements on the drawings. If there are no special installation requirements, the general technical requirements of belt conveyor are as follows:
 
(1) The center line of the frame shall coincide with the longitudinal center line of the conveyor, and the deviation shall not be greater than 2mm.
(2) The straightness deviation of the center line of the frame shall not be greater than 5mm within any 25m length.
(3) The perpendicularity deviation of frame legs to the ground shall not be greater than 2 / 1000.
(4) The allowable deviation of the distance between intermediate frames is plus or minus 1.5mm, and the height difference shall not be greater than 2 / 1000 of the distance.
(5) The transverse center line of the drum shall coincide with the longitudinal center line of the conveyor, and the deviation shall not be greater than 2mm.
(6) The verticality deviation between the roller axis and the longitudinal center line of the conveyor shall not be greater than 2 / 1000, and the levelness deviation shall not be greater than 1 / 1000.
 
02 Equipment handling work
 

During the construction period, a large number of purchased equipment cannot be placed on the construction site. This requires that the equipment to be installed be picked out and marked for hoisting. Before transportation, try to find out all the equipment to be installed and used, and transport them in place at one time, which not only saves the cost of vehicle shift, but also improves the work efficiency. After the equipment is transported and hoisted in place, the installation site should be investigated to eliminate the adverse factors affecting the equipment installation.
