Maintenance Procedures For Ball Mill

Routine maintenance:
1. Before each startup, inject lubricating grease into the motor bearing and pinion bearing, and other oil filling places must be well sealed and kept clean.
2. For new lubricating parts, pour out all the oil and replace it with new oil after 30 days of operation.
3. When the parking time in winter is long, turn the three-way cock installed at the water inlet of the main bearing to the waterproof position, and use the siphon function to discharge the accumulated water in the water passage of the spherical tile, so as to avoid frost cracking of the spherical tile or bearing seat.
4. During long-term shutdown, the steel ball shall be poured out to avoid deformation and bending of the cylinder.
Regular maintenance:
1. Transmission device (overhaul once a year)
 
1). Maintenance of motor and reducer.
2). The big and small gears are worn to 25% of the tooth thickness or broken or lost teeth, which must be replaced and repaired.
3). Check the rotating shaft. If there are cracks of 10mm or more, it must be repaired or replaced.
4). Check whether the elastic pin coupling is intact.
 
2. Main bearing (overhaul once a year)
1). Check the integrity of the spherical wababbitt alloy. If the wear exceeds 5mm, it must be recast.
2). Check the main bearing bush. When the surface wear depth exceeds 1mm, it must be repaired, and the cracks on the hollow shaft must be repaired.
3). Check whether the main bearing seal is in good condition. In case of oil leakage, check whether the sealing gasket is worn. If it is worn, replace and adjust it in time.
 
3. Rotary part (overhaul once every half a year)
1). Check the incoming and outgoing spiral drum and blade. If they are worn to 70% of the original, they must be repaired or replaced.
2). Check the grate plate and lining plate. If the wear exceeds 50% of the original thickness, it must be replaced.
3). Check the lining plate of grinding head. If it is found that the cracks, edges and corners are more than 70% of the original, it must be replaced.
4). Check the cylinder. If the thickness of the cylinder is worn more than 20% of the original, or there are cracks and local deformation, it must be repaired or replaced.
5). Check the manhole cover plate and sealing gasket, and replace them in time if damaged.
6). Check the steel ball lining plate. If it is serious, replace it.
 
4. Feed part (overhaul once a year)
1). Check the feed hopper, repair welding with serious wear, or replace it.
2). Check the wear of the seal between the feed hopper and the feed spiral drum. If there is material leakage or ash leakage, repair and replace it.
 
5. Discharge part (overhaul once a year)
 
check the wear of discharge cover and discharge screen hole, and repair it in time.
